Gry Kipperberg is a Norwegian dancer living in Oslo.
She studied at the National Academy of Dance in Oslo (1986-1989) and the Merce Cunningham Studio in New York (1989-90), and has additional studies in improvisation and various release-based and somatic techniques. As a dancer she has worked with a number of Norwegian companies and choreographers and toured extensively internationally. In 1999 she established, together with Italian-born choreographer Francesco Scavetta, the company Wee, in which she works as a dancer and producer. Gry has also participated in various other collaborative projects. She also teaches dance and is active in political and organizational work.
She has received several grants and prizes, most recently a prize for meritorious participation in scenic performances from the Norwegian Fund for Performing Artists.
